Who Are We?

Established in 1984, Halton Down Syndrome Association (HDSA) is a Registered Charity working to improve the quality of life for people with Down syndrome and their families. HDSA is an active and vibrant leader in advocacy, awareness, education and support within the Halton community. Our mission is to empower individuals with Down syndrome to reach their full potential through all stages of life.

Join our vibrant community of families who share together in the JOY of Down syndrome, We offer peer support groups for all ages.

In celebration of our 40th Birthday it is our wish to do something fun for our community.  There is a *Community Living* home in Halton that hosts several residents with Down syndrome and we want to do a mini home makeover for them.

Donate Your Car

Donate a Car Canada accepts Vehicle Donations for the Halton Down Syndrome Association. Free towing is provided in most areas across Canada, or you can drop off your vehicle to maximize your donation. When you donate your car, truck, RV, boat, or motorcycle to the Halton Down Syndrome Association through Donate A Car Canada, it will either be recycled or sold at auction (depending on its condition, age and location). Donate a Car Canada will look after all the details to make it easy for the Halton Down Syndrome Association to benefit. After your vehicle donation is complete, you will receive a tax receipt and we will put your gift to good use.
